Sacramento, California - Wilma Jean Martin, passed peacefully on March 29, 2023, in Rancho Cordova, California. She was born on February 16, 1937 in Rogers, Arkansas to her late parents, Mamie and Robert Youngblood and was the eldest of their four children. Wilma was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Preceded to heaven by her daughter Rhonda, grandchildren Ammon and Jessica, leaving behind her other siblings Robert Jr., Joanne, and Patricia, husband, Vincent, her daughters, Rebecca (Mark), Roxanne (John), Catherine (Paul), along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wilma was a very caring, kind-hearted, and generous woman who always put the needs of others before her own. She had a nurturing spirit which led her to pursue a career in nursing. Wilma attended nursing school in Arkansas and became a Registered Nurse, after relocating to California she dedicated many years of her life to serving the Sacramento community at various hospitals. For the last 15 years of her career, she worked at Mercy General Hospital in the Stroke Rehabilitation Center providing compassionate care to her patients.

Outside of her professional life, Wilma had a variety of hobbies that brought her joy. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, creating beautiful landscapes and tending to her trees and plants. Sewing was another passion of hers, allowing her to express her creativity and create unique pieces. Additionally, Wilma had a talent for photography and captured many cherished memories through her lens.

A private service to honor Wilma's life will be held at Fair Oaks Cemetery where she will be interned.

Wilma Jean Martin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her caring nature, selflessness, and dedication to her family and community will always be remembered. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
