Terry E. Bunfill, born on October 24, 1943, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on October 5, 2024, at the age of 80. Son of Gladys "Barbara" Bunfill and Elmer "Curly" Bunfill, Terry was a man of great passion and intellect. He practiced law with integrity and worked simultaneously for the Social Welfare Department, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with.

Terry was a WWII historian and enthusiast, dedicating countless hours to studying the era and bringing its stories to life. He was also an avid modeler of military miniatures, meticulously recreating historical scenes in detail. His love for history extended to his enjoyment of period films, where he found solace in re-living the moments that shaped the world. Terry also had a passion for fine dining, always exploring new culinary experiences and sharing them with friends and family.

A man of many talents and interests, Terry was a licensed pilot, a certified scuba diver, and a world traveler, often accompanied by the love of his life, his wife Margery. His adventurous spirit was balanced by his enjoyment of shooting sports and the quiet companionship of his beloved cats. Above all, Terry treasured his family.

Terry is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margery May Fury; and survived by his sister, Darla Trail; his daughter, Susan Nelson; his son, Brian Fury; and his cherished grandchildren, Cassandra Boltz, Nicholas Nelson, Samantha Fury, and Cooper Fury. His life was filled with adventure, intellect, and warmth, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In the final days of Terry's earthly journey, a profound transformation took place that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. After years of searching for peace and meaning, Terry found solace in the unconditional love of Christ. It was in this sacred moment that he made the deeply personal decision to accept Jesus as his Savior.

Surrounded by family and loved ones, Terry was baptized, marking a beautiful new beginning in his spiritual life. As the water gently flowed, it symbolized not just a cleansing, but the promise of eternal grace.

Terry's legacy of passion and curiosity will continue to inspire his family and friends forever. He will be deeply missed.
